“Placid” (born Jean François Duval) is one of the godfathers of the french underground comics scene, having his works published in almost each and every “graphzine” appearing in France. His works tend to have a glam-rock feel, somewhat like a cross between Roy Orbison & the Dolls, viewed through one of those wobble mirrors you see at fairs :) Some of his older works can be seen at my Placid gallery up at the ComicArtFans site.
